As a skilled Financial Recovery Specialist at Gordon Yates Ltd, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of debtors to recover outstanding payments. - Manage a portfolio, working to targets set by the Collections Manager, to ensure maximum recovery rates are achieved.
- Contact debtors on the ledger to recover payment of outstanding debt, utilizing strong communication skills to negotiate payment plans that benefit both parties.
- Collaborate with the Collections Manager to arrange and set up payment plans with debtors, ensuring timely payment and minimizing defaults.
- Identify and rectify any discrepancies in accounts, providing accurate reconciliations and resolving internal and external queries efficiently.
- Liaise directly with Business Partners to resolve disputes and facilitate smooth transaction processing.
- Report on debt recovery progress, analyzing trends and recommending strategies to improve overall performance.
