Vix Technology, a global leader in automatic fare collection, transit information, and transit analytics solutions, is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer - Electrical Systems to support, maintain, and improve our products and equipment. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met, and their expectations are exceeded.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in fault diagnosis and rectification of vehicle electrical/electronic systems. You will also possess excellent communication skills, able to effectively interact with customers, and deliver high-quality service. In addition, you will be required to work independently, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues. Your day-to-day activities will include corrective and preventative maintenance, installation and commissioning of equipment, and maintaining accurate documentation.

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including private healthcare, income protection scheme, pension, group life assurance, cycle to work scheme, electric car benefit scheme, and employee assistance programme. We regret that this position is only available for UK citizens/Residents with indefinite leave to remain in the UK, with current full-time work rights for the United Kingdom, currently residing in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs of electrical systems
- Identify and rectify faults in electrical systems, working closely with our internal teams
- Install and commission new equipment, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Ensure customer satisfaction, resolving any issues promptly and efficiently
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, protecting yourself and others from harm

Requirements:
- NVQ or similar in electrical engineering or Level 3 NVQ or similar in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Experience in fault diagnosis and rectification of vehicle electrical/electronic systems
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and use initiative
- Ability to work in a pressurised environment, meeting tight deadlines
- Good customer relationship skills
