We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to lead our Cardiac Rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will have a wide range of clinical experience across multiple specialties and be an effective communicator.

The post holder will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of complex adult patients, including those on HDU, using enhanced clinical decision-making skills.

The ideal candidate will have significant recent postgraduate clinical experience in respiratory, urology, medicine, and gynaecology.

Main Responsibilities
  1. To provide clinical and professional leadership to Physiotherapy colleagues in the specialty area.
  2. To work as an autonomous practitioner to provide specialist therapy assessments, diagnose, and develop individualised treatment programmes.
  3. To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the delivery of Physiotherapy by the team.
  4. To participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of Physiotherapy within the Specialist Team.
  5. To ensure the training and development of staff within the Therapy specialty Team.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration and Physiotherapy BSc/MSc.
  • Practice/Clinical Educators Course.
