Location: Oxford

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience

Job Type: Full-time (07:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday) with potential for overtime and weekend work

Duration: 2 Years

About the Role:

We require an experienced Carpentry Site Lead to join our team in Oxford, overseeing the installation of high-end fit-out joinery and architectural metalwork for bespoke manufacturers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering high-quality projects, managing teams, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of skilled carpenters to ensure productivity, motivation, and quality workmanship
  • Project manage from conception to completion, ensuring all joinery and fit-out elements meet specifications and industry regulations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors through clear communication and regular updates
  • Uphold the highest standards of workmanship and safety, adhering to Health and Safety Regulations and relevant NVQs
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and expenditures to ensure projects are delivered within allocated budget constraints

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Carpentry Site Lead or Joinery Site Manager in high-end residential or commercial fit-out projects
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • Strong understanding of joinery and fit-out processes, materials, and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and commitment to ensuring a safe working environment
  • Valid CSCS card
