About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Expert to join our team in Southampton. As a key member of our Store Support Office, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products listed on the B&Q Marketplace by verified sellers meet regulatory and contractual requirements.

As a Compliance Expert, you will contribute to ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements for selected product categories during onboarding, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and monitor live marketplace listings to remove non-compliant products. You will also investigate issues arising from customer complaints and reviews, and collaborate with the Legal Compliance Manager on ad-hoc matters.

To succeed in this role, you will need a proven background in product or regulatory compliance, understanding consumer-focused legislation (e.g., product safety, unit pricing, and claims). You should be familiar with consumer products (preferably in the DIY and home improvement sector) and have sound risk assessment principles. A comfort level with shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment is also essential.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a competitive salary, up to £47,000 + bonus + pension + BUPA + ShareSave + 6.6 weeks holiday + hybrid working (3 days per week in the office).
