Flexible Veterinary Role in Harlow, Essex

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at GLG Vets in Harlow, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet looking for a supportive environment with flexibility in shift patterns and work-life balance.

About the Position
  • This locum role offers a flexible work schedule of 4 to 5 days per week, with negotiable shift times.
  • Accommodation is available if needed.

The position is commutable from Hertfordshire, making it an ideal choice for those living in the area. We offer a competitive daily rate, commensurate with experience, and flexible working hours to suit your schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Diagnose and treat a wide range of small animal cases, including both routine and emergency work.
  2. Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as required.
  3. Provide clear communication and compassionate care to clients and patients.
  4. Work closely with the veterinary team to maintain high standards of care and professionalism.
  5. Participate in out-of-hours duties, if willing, to assist with emergency cases.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team, utilizing your strong clinical skills in both medicine and surgery. Your excellent communication skills and client-focused approach will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine with current registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • Strong clinical skills in both medicine and surgery.
  • Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
