About the Adult Social Worker Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified social worker to join our team in West Essex. The role involves working with adults and their families who have complex social needs and are more vulnerable as a result of disability, exclusion, or diminished capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximise the potential of adults to live independently.
  • Work with adults and their families to assess their needs and develop support plans.
  • Chair meetings involving clients, family members, carers, and other multi-agency professionals.
  • Develop strong relationships with partner agencies and the local community.

Requirements

  • Qualified social worker with a current Social Work England registration.
  • At least 1 year's social work experience and evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current legislation, regulations, and guidance.
