Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Nuclear Engineer to join our Decommissioning & Waste Services team within our Nuclear & Power business. Based in Northwest England, you will work on delivering engineering and waste management projects for clients within the Nuclear Decommissioning sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver complex design packages for key nuclear clients.
  • Oversight of current engineers and integration with wider disciplines within the engineering group.
  • Lead role on projects or contribute to multi-disciplinary design delivery autonomously.
Requirements
  • Support estimate development for scope of work and resources required.
  • Develop design solutions according to project milestones.
  • Understand contractual and performance requirements for various systems.
  • Produce documentation for design review process.
  • Ensure design proving evidence is comprehensive.
  • Compliance against contractual requirements and company standards.
  • Review supplier documentation and ensure recording.
  • Design reviews and presentations to customers.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in full lifecycle engineering.
  • Technical report writing skills.
  • Design Justification Reports.
  • Technical presentations.
  • Attending factory acceptance tests.
