Job Title: Associate Director of Services

Join the Swansea Bay University Health Board team as an Associate Director of Services and play a key role in supporting the Group Director, Group Nurse Director, and Group Medical Director in delivering effective leadership and management of the Morriston Service Group (MSG).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Group Director in delivering effective leadership and management of the MSG.
  • Work closely with the Group Nurse Director and Group Medical Director to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and patient safety.
  • Lead on service improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the effective management of complex services.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of achievement at senior management level.
  • Experience in line management of staff and financial management.
  • Ability to work strategically and lead on significant service improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and accept responsibility and accountability for performance.
Desirable:
  • Service Improvement qualification (Bronze or Silver).
  • Programme and project management qualifications.
  • Coaching Qualification.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
