About the Role

At Barchester Healthcare, we're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Nursing Professional to lead our care team. As a General Care Manager, you'll be responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring the delivery of nursing services that meet the needs of our residents. This role requires strong leadership skills, with a focus on implementing person-centred care plans that make a real difference in our residents' lives.

To succeed in this position, you'll need to have a strong background in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments. An up-to-date knowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines, is essential. You'll also need to be a natural leader who has experience as a clinical mentor, supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship.
