About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to join our team at Direct Line Group. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a key role in proactively planning and managing tasks to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver impactful solutions to improve DLG's pricing performance and longer-term pricing capability.
  • Provide key analytical support and insight to inform wider business decisions and strategy.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to produce aligned outcomes.
  • Assist with the development of pricing models and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Analyse trading performance and create, monitor, and track KPIs.
  • Plan, manage, and deliver critical tasks and projects in a proactive, timely, and accurate manner.
  • Help foster a culture of sharing knowledge and communicate effectively with peers.
  • Develop yourself to maximise your personal contribution to the team.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and challenge current processes.
  • Strive to learn about pricing and underwriting systems and create original solutions.
  • Play an active role in the induction and training of new members.
  • Manage risks involved in running the business and communicate with peers and team managers.
  • Ensure compliance with core DLG Policies and governance controls.
  • Reinforce the culture and core values of DLG.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills and personal effectiveness.
  • Ability to use your own initiative and work as a team player.
  • Relevant work experience within a similar pricing or analytical role.
  • Educated to at least degree level or equivalent in a numerically-focused degree.
