Speech and Language Therapist - Neuro Community

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in the Neuro Community department. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, treating, and discharging adult clients referred with communication and swallowing difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop treatment plans for adult clients with communication and swallowing difficulties.
  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to clients in the Neuro Community department.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Continuously develop and maintain specialist knowledge and expertise in speech and language therapy.
  • Provide education and support to clients, families, and carers to promote independence and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent.
  • HCPC Licence to Practice and registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
  • 6 months of paid patient-facing UK nursing experience within the past 3 years.
