About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Croydon. As a Specialist Speech Therapist, you will work with adults who have learning disabilities, assessing, developing, and implementing Speech and Language Therapy programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and developing Speech and Language Therapy programs for adults with learning disabilities
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide an efficient, effective, and coordinated Speech and Language Therapy Service
  • Supervising and managing other Speech and Language Therapists and providing leadership in this specialism

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification and Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Postgraduate qualification in a related field
  • Considerable experience of working with adults who have learning disabilities
  • Experience of supervision and line management
  • Significant experience in independently managing a complex dysphagia caseload
