Senior Financial Analyst

As a key member of the finance team at Daisy Communications Limited, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the management of the month end process, including updating group schedules. The role will also involve assisting with the preparation of STATS accounts and working closely with auditors. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and processing month-end journals, as well as managing defined balance sheet reconciliations. Daily bank reconciliations and payroll reporting and reconciliation will also be key responsibilities. Furthermore, the role will involve producing and reconciling quarterly VAT returns and supporting the finance manager to complete deliverables for the year-end statutory accounts and audit.
Requirements
- Qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Experience with Sage200 and COGNOS desirable, but not essential
- Advanced MS Excel skills to a level enabling effective data analysis
- Good communication skills, able to work effectively with both finance and non-finance colleagues
- A high energy level with creative problem-solving abilities
- Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- At all times demonstrate confidentiality, conscientiousness, and trustworthiness
