Job Title: Management Accountant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Daisy Communications. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the month-end process, preparing financial reports, and providing financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end process, including updating group schedules and preparing financial reports.
- Assist with preparing financial statements and working with auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Draft and process month-end journals, as well as manage defined balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage daily bank reconciliations and payroll reporting and reconciliation.
- Produce and reconcile quarterly VAT returns.
- Support the Finance Manager in completing deliverables for the year-end statutory accounts and audit.
Requirements:
- Qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Experience with Sage200 and COGNOS desirable, but not essential.
- Advanced MS Excel skills to a level enabling effective data analysis.
- Good communication skills, able to work effectively with both Finance and Non-Finance colleagues.
- A high energy level with creative problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- At all times demonstrate confidentiality, conscientiousness, and trustworthiness.
