Job Title: Management Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Daisy Communications. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the month-end process, preparing financial reports, and providing financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end process, including updating group schedules and preparing financial reports.
  • Assist with preparing financial statements and working with auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Draft and process month-end journals, as well as manage defined balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage daily bank reconciliations and payroll reporting and reconciliation.
  • Produce and reconcile quarterly VAT returns.
  • Support the Finance Manager in completing deliverables for the year-end statutory accounts and audit.

Requirements:

  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA
  • Experience with Sage200 and COGNOS desirable, but not essential.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills to a level enabling effective data analysis.
  • Good communication skills, able to work effectively with both Finance and Non-Finance colleagues.
  • A high energy level with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • At all times demonstrate confidentiality, conscientiousness, and trustworthiness.
