About the Role:

The Chief Transformation Officer will lead the transformation and innovation agenda for a world-class water utility, driving strategic change and delivering business improvement. This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the Board, with responsibility for leading and managing services effectively to ensure value for money.

Key responsibilities include crafting and implementing strategies to achieve corporate vision, advancing priorities in Customer, Water, Economy, Nature, and People, and providing leadership for transformation and innovation programmes. The post-holder will be a champion for creativity across the company, driving efficiency, improving value for money, and developing new ways of working.

With a focus on delivering measurable business improvement, the successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to develop an innovation framework that encourages creative thinking and the generation of new ideas. This includes overseeing an innovation pipeline with a steady flow of projects from ideation to implementation, and supporting the business in proactively identifying opportunities to advance strategy and vision through change initiatives.

A strong leader with significant experience of large budgets, cost savings, and service improvement, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering major strategies for innovation and transformation in complex environments. They will also possess excellent stakeholder engagement and programme management skills, with the ability to present business strategies, policy, or investment decisions at Board/Senior Leadership level.
