Chief Legal Officer

The Utility Regulator is seeking a highly skilled Chief Legal Officer to join its team. As the Head of Legal, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Chief Executive, Board, and Senior Leadership Team. You will be responsible for leading an effective and professional team of legal advisors, providing high-quality legal advice and support on strategy, policy development, governance, and compliance issues.
The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work across various functions, leading and maintaining professional engagement with key external and internal partners for the Utility Regulator's regulatory, investigatory, and enforcement work. You will actively contribute to the delivery of our aims and objectives.

Our attractive package includes a competitive starting salary with stepped increases per annum, hybrid working, NI Civil Service pension arrangements, and 25 days annual leave (rising to 30 days after two years).
