Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Mitie. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering a building fabric maintenance and repairs service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a building fabric service, including carpentry, fire door inspection and repair, and other minor building works.
  • Manage conflicting priorities in a complex working environment.
  • Ownership of workshop and machine shop.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and maintain effective communication with clients.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to a C&G or NVQ in a fabric trade.
  • Previous experience of working as a fabric technician.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Ability to be proactive and identify opportunities.

Experience of PDA or iPad technology for reporting and completion of jobs is essential. You will be required to work out of hours and at weekends as needed.
