Product Communications Specialist

We're seeking a seasoned Product Communications Specialist to support Spotify's efforts in crafting compelling narratives around our innovative product offerings and integrations. In this role, you will develop and execute global product communications strategies that improve the user experience both on and off platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead global product and partner communications strategies.
  • Develop and execute proactive storytelling campaigns around Spotify's hero features.
  • Support major marketing initiatives around product features, generating press and influencer moments.
  • Work directly with internal spokespeople and senior leadership on announcements, speaking opportunities, events, and broader storytelling.
  • Develop crisis communication strategies pertaining to the product and user experience.
  • Manage external agency partners.
  • Collaborate with market communications leads to develop strategies and plans that can be implemented at a local level.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of relevant communications experience in consumer PR, entertainment, or technology.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong strategic and resourceful problem-solver.
  • Experience in crisis management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced global industry and environment.
  • Team player who can work autonomously while thinking globally and executing locally.
