Job Title: Private Markets Portfolio Manager

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to lead the development and implementation of our new UK Opportunities portfolio. This innovative investment proposition aims to have a material positive impact on new investment across the UK.

About the Role

As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining extensive due diligence reports, supporting investment decision making and portfolio construction using internal and external sources of data and research. You will evaluate new investment opportunities, manage a portfolio/sub-fund, execute investment transactions, and regularly review the performance, attribution, exposure, and risk metrics of the sub-fund/portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain due diligence reports
  • Support investment decision making and portfolio construction
  • Evaluate new investment opportunities
  • Manage a portfolio/sub-fund
  • Execute investment transactions
  • Review performance, attribution, exposure, and risk metrics
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with relevant experience in private market due diligence, including reviewing investment, operational, and ESG factors. You should have investment decision making and portfolio and risk management experience. A keen interest in and understanding of investment markets, long-term investment, and a commitment to responsible investment and sustainability are essential.
