Standards Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Standards Manager to join our team at Membership Bespoke. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for promoting the benefits of membership and overseeing our accreditation and professional practice standards and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote membership benefits and increase engagement
  • Manage and maintain our accreditation and professional practice standards and processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of standards
  • Provide expert guidance and support to members and stakeholders on standards-related matters
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our standards remain relevant and effective

Requirements:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience with professional accreditation and standards development
  • Proven ability to establish and drive team discussions, learn from experience, and improve organizational processes and plans
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Proven ability to lead, balance a busy workload, and drive several projects at once

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working for a Chartered body
  • Experience managing complaints hearings in a professional body or similar organization
  • Experience working with committees and volunteers

What We Offer:

  • Basic salary £36,000-£38,000 plus benefits: contributory pension scheme and 25 days annual leave plus 10 public holidays
  • Permanent, full-time position
