About the Role

Turner & Townsend is a leading global consultancy, renowned for its expertise in energy transition and sustainable development. We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Procurement Specialist to join our Contract Services team, supporting our clients in delivering major capital programmes and projects for green technologies.

As an Energy Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping our clients progress towards better green, sustainable outcomes across numerous renewable energy asset types. You will be responsible for leading or supporting procurement engagements across multiple programmes, projects, and commissions.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for major capital programmes and projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  2. Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects.
  4. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring compliance with client expectations and industry standards.
  5. Identify opportunities for process improvements, ensuring the efficient delivery of procurement services.
Requirements
  1. Degree in a relevant field, such as procurement, supply chain management, or business administration.
  2. Proven experience in procurement, including contract management and negotiation.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
