About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Support Worker to join our team as a PMLD Teaching Assistant at a school in Knowsley. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with personal care needs, managing behavioural challenges, and providing targeted support.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and/or in the education sector, with a keen interest in working with students with special educational needs. They will possess excellent communication skills, be patient and understanding, and have a proactive work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to students with personal care needs
  • Develop and implement behaviour management strategies with the SENCO and other professionals
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans
