Field Service Manager, Medical Systems

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Manager to join our team in the medical systems division. As a Field Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our field service engineering teams, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the field service engineering teams to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
  • Develop and implement service schedules and visit plans to meet customer needs
  • Oversee stock control and ordering of spare parts to minimize downtime and maximize service efficiency
  • Monitor and analyze service team performance using management tools and databases

Requirements

  • Relevant technical qualification, such as HNC in electronics or a related field
  • Proven experience in field service management, preferably in a high-technology service environment
  • Senior engineering, mentoring, or team leadership experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of medical diagnostics, laboratory, or scientific fields is an advantage, but not essential
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor in customer-facing environments
  • Flexible approach with a determination to resolve complex challenges
  • Full UK driving license
