Site Support Manager

Maintenance Operative required for Seed Recruitment Consultants Ltd. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in facilities management, working closely with our team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Areas of Responsibility- Conduct routine repairs and maintenance tasks, prioritizing the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
- Perform regular inspections and upkeep routines, including light bulb replacements, waste disposal, and equipment checks.
- Collaborate with management to optimize resource allocation, reduce unnecessary journeys, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Activate the fire alarm system weekly to guarantee its proper functioning.
- Verify water temperatures and conduct Legionella tests to meet regulatory requirements.
- Inspect critical systems, including nurse call, lifts, and boilers.
- Record meter readings for gas, electricity, and water consumption.
- Sweep and maintain external areas of the building.
- Inspect wheelchairs for defects, report issues, and perform necessary maintenance.
- Review interior décor and touch up paint work as needed.
- Clean grease traps and manage non-food item stocks.
- Direct and verify deliveries, ensuring timely receipt and accurate storage.
- Coordinate with the Housekeeper for carpet shampooing and room redecorating.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and fire lectures as required.
