Job Title: Sales Office Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Sales Office Manager to lead our internal sales team at our regional distribution centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing sales activities to help the site exceed all sales and profit targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead the internal sales team, setting targets and objectives, and completing performance and development assessments.
- Sales Administration: Oversee all sales administration processing to ensure timely and efficient completion, utilizing relevant systems.
- Reporting and Analysis: Complete relevant reports to monitor sales input, invoicing, and margin, identifying and acting on opportunities for improvement.
- Customer Service: Directly handle customer queries and orders, maintaining excellent levels of customer service.
- Account Development: Take an active lead in developing existing accounts, seeking and capitalizing on opportunities to up-sell across the product portfolio.
- Collaboration: Work in partnership with external sales executives, attending customer visits as necessary.
- Logistics: Liaise with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery schedules are maintained for all customers.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a good knowledge of all packaging solutions, sharing this knowledge with colleagues.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in managing a small team within a fast-paced environment.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service and internal sales skills.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant systems and software.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
