Project Manager – Delivery Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of the Astute submarine programme closure and product safety bid. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in programme delivery, bid and proposal development, and knowledge of lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the Boat 7 Last of Class (LoC) Additional Production Materials Procurement Plan.
- Ensuring activities and plans to de-risk the programme are identified and mitigated to meet and exceed incentive targets in the contract.
- Interfacing between the Defect and Deficiency team and the Programme team.
- Responsible for Project Managing the execution and delivery of the proactive obsolescence service.
- Supporting the delivery of improvements to Operational planning processes and activities to enable greater success in delivering effective management of customer liabilities.
About the Team:
The Material Management, Change & Programme Closure team leads the charge in project managing the delivery of the Astute submarine programme closure and product safety bid. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

Requirements:
- Professional Project Management Qualification.
- Experience in programme delivery, bid and proposal development, and knowledge of lifecycle management.
- Previous experience in a leadership position.
- Strong stakeholder management experience adept at guiding and influencing outcomes.
