Role Summary:

This Principal Communications Design Engineer position is a key role within the Platform Complex Systems Delivery team at BAE Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical input and engineering solutions in support of build activities, defect resolution and change management.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in system or equipment design, particularly in internal communications systems. They will also have experience of working in different engineering lifecycle phases and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record of system or equipment design in internal communications systems
  • Demonstrable experience of working in different engineering lifecycle phases
  • Relevant Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Degree or equivalent qualification and experience
  • Technical report writing skills and experienced in requirements definition and management
