Strategic Planner

This is an exciting opportunity to join the SSNA Project Controls Planning Team at BAE Systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in planning for major projects and be proficient in using Primavera P6.

As a Strategic Planner - Project Controller, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tailored planning practices, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and interfacing and reporting on programme status both internally and externally.

You will also be involved in submarine design, build, test, and commissioning, as well as AUKUS and BCCRP programmes, and will interface with Rolls-Royce, Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA), Babcock, and the joint programme management office.

Additionally, you will drive quality improvements into the design phase and build phase schedules and coach members of the team, monitor their quality of work, and contribute to performance management.

The role requires experience in planning for major projects, proficiency in using Primavera P6, and expertise in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,748 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
