Step Teachers is proud to partner with an outstanding Ofsted-rated Secondary school in Hackney, offering a unique opportunity for experienced Cover Supervisors or recent degree holders to join their team. As a Cover Supervisor, you will have the chance to lead classes, build positive relationships with students and staff, and apply your subject knowledge to support student learning and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a supportive and productive learning environment for students.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, contributing to a collaborative school community.
  • Apply your subject knowledge and expertise to support student learning and engagement across various subjects and age groups.
  • Assist with classroom management and administrative tasks, honing your organizational and leadership skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any field.
  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or related role is preferred but not required.
  • Openness to learning and adapting to new environments, with a passion for making a positive impact in education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and colleagues effectively.
