Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production engineer team.
  • Assist in manufacturing and production improvements.
  • Support the design team to ensure the manufacturability of designs.
  • Manage Statistical Process Control (SPC) process and utilize data for the formulation of Engineering, production and design improvements.
  • Monitor the production flow and identify productivity initiatives.
  • Implement productivity improvement initiatives in conjunction with the production and operations team.
  • Develop and maintain SOP to ensure its accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Design and implement visual manufacturing and production aides.
  • Have a good understanding of the use of jigs and fixtures in manufacturing.
  • Support continuous improvements and lean culture across the business unit.
  • Support KPI tracking and other management tools.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a production engineer to take on a leadership role and shape the direction of manufacturing at our company. You will be responsible for leading a team of production engineers and working closely with the design team and suppliers to ensure the company products remain one of the best in their sector.

Requirements:

We are looking for a production engineer with experience in manufacturing techniques, including the use of jig and fixtures. You should have a good understanding of geometrical tolerance and be able to apply it effectively. You should also have solid people leadership skills and be able to demonstrate them in a team environment.
