We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer Trainee to join our Technical department at Swegon Ltd.

Job Summary

This exciting opportunity involves supporting the workload in our test laboratories, coordinating external testing, and delivering test protocols to evaluate Swegon's products in various operating environments.

About the Role
  1. Support the maintenance of in-house test facilities, ensuring continued compliance and certification, while providing recommendations for reducing environmental impact.
  2. Conduct product testing, data aggregation, design & test analysis, and publish performance data & operational characteristics for Swegon's range of Air Terminal Devices.
  3. Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams, supporting new product development and active sales projects for bespoke products & challenging IEQ applications.
  4. Project delivery of test programmes, data logging/analysis, and report writing, recording, documenting, and archiving all stages of testing and validation.
Requirements
  • Engineering BTEC / NVQs or relevant qualifications.
  • A-level Physics, A-level Maths, A-Level Technology, Engineering based degree / NVQ L3 (desired).
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with 3D design (training can be offered).
  • An understanding of simulation software (CFD / FEA) – training can be offered.
