About the Role:

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is a recruitment company specializing in placing professionals within the repairs and maintenance industry. We are currently working on behalf of a leading Housing association.

Your Primary Responsibility:

You will oversee the logistical management of Direct Operatives and Subcontractors to meet repair appointments, delivering exceptional customer service. You will work in a call centre environment, managing a team of Resource Controllers, ensuring they plan future appointments and schedule appointments for the day at the requested time by the Customer, liaising with the repair teams when capacity is reached.

  • Supervise Performance: Ensure repair appointments are resourced and managed, allocating operatives based on skills, availability, and locality to jobs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Use manual measures to understand performance, identifying trends or issues to improve the service.
  • Conflict Resolution: Manage conflict, issues, and poor performance of your team to achieve a positive outcome for the company and contract.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Office Supervisors to ensure the Call Centre team is effective and efficient in their roles.
  • Recruitment and Induction: Recruit and induct staff, providing a professional introduction to the company and contract.
  • Technical Skills: Good computer skills in MS Office and comfortable using job management systems.

Knowledge and Qualifications:

Required Knowledge: Basic knowledge of building maintenance trades and tasks/activities undertaken by each trade group.

Qualification Requirements: GCSE or equivalent grade C or above in Maths and English.

Desirable Experience: 2 years experience working in an Operations Centre of a Building Maintenance Contract.
