About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Support Associate to join our OUTSTANDING acute care team at Homerton University Hospital.

The role involves assisting patients with their hygiene needs, toileting, nutritional intake, mobility, and physical comfort, as well as monitoring and recording vital signs.

You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to provide a high standard of nursing care and customer focus to improve the patient experience.

Job Description

Main Duties:

  • Assist patients with personal care needs, including toileting and bathing.
  • Support patients with their nutritional intake and monitor their vital signs.
  • Assist with patients' mobility and physical comfort.

Person Specification:

  • NVQ qualification or willingness to undertake course (essential).
  • Care certificate (desirable).
  • Experience of caring for others in a health or social work capacity (essential).
  • Ability to act upon own initiative and understanding of the role of a Healthcare Support Associate (essential).

Salary and Benefits:
