At Festivals Edinburgh, we're passionate about delivering unforgettable events that inspire people of all ages. As a key member of our production team, you'll play a vital role in bringing our multi-disciplinary events programme to life.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced technician with a diverse skill set to support us in delivering a range of events, including our flagship festival in April 2025, schools touring programme from January 2025, and other ad hoc events and warehouse operations.

Our events feature interactive science, technology, engineering, and maths workshops, as well as exhibitions and presentations. You'll work closely with our production team to ensure smooth event execution, managing logistics, technical aspects, and safety considerations.

About You

We're seeking someone with multiple skill sets, including but not limited to:

  • Set and scenery construction and installation
  • Scenic artistry
  • Warehouse duties – auditing, exhibition maintenance, packing, and preparation of goods for upcoming or returning events
  • Electrics on exhibition and live events
  • Understanding of sound, lighting, AV equipment
  • Stage crew
  • Electronics
  • Stage Management

You should have a strong preference for people with a multi-skilled background and adaptability to take on various tasks. The salary for this position is £25,000-£35,000 per year, depending on experience.
