The Opportunity

Our Edinburgh office currently has a unique and exciting opportunity to join our Audit service line as a Partner and play a key role in the Central Scotland leadership team.

You will work closely with our Audit Partner group across Scotland and will be supported by an experienced and knowledgeable network within the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on dealing with a wide variety of clients from various sectors, providing advice to owner managers on both business and personal matters and acting as a trusted business adviser.
  • Drive revenue growth across existing and new service offerings, demonstrating broad business thinking and sound commercial judgement to add value.
  • Work collaboratively to suggest ideas and concepts for increased marketing opportunities with existing clients and have a full awareness of internal contacts services offered by departments across the firm, maximising cross-selling opportunities.
  • Oversee all aspects of client engagement, assuming overall responsibility for allocating work and ensuring client service is maintained at a high level.
  • Manage the end-to-end audit process, including budgets and timescales, and ideally act as RI.

Requirements

  • Ideal candidate holds RI status.
  • Ability to analyse complex business situations to identify key issues and priorities, demonstrating an excellent working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP.
  • ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualified and will possess a senior level experience and the ability to manage a large portfolio of clients, whilst leading a team.
  • Confident communicator.
  • Ability to make decisions, solve problems and take appropriate action.
