Transforming Clinical Pharmacy
We are currently transforming our clinical pharmacy service across NHS Fife, as an integrated pharmacy service across hospital, primary care and specialist teams. The aim is to join up care for our patients across transitions of care and ensure the best outcomes for patients with their medicines.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake a key role in continuing the provision of a safe, effective pharmacy service to all community health settings.
- Support patient flow across the interface, contributing to the timely and safe provision of medicines for inpatient care, discharges and transfer of care.
- Travel across Fife to cover other community hospitals out with your base locations.
- Maintain your checking qualification.
Requirements
- Be able to work independently or as part of the pharmacy team and wider multidisciplinary team.
- Be an excellent communicator who has the ability to build good relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
- Have experience of working in a clinical environment and managing staff.
