Dedicated Medication Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in NHS Fife. As a key member of the Primary Care Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients across Fife.
This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Support Workers, and GP Practice clinicians to provide exceptional patient care.
You will be responsible for a range of tasks including medicines reconciliation, review of discharge and outpatient letters, acute, repeat and serial prescription requests, and answering medication-related queries. You will also have opportunities to carry out medication reviews in various settings, including telephone, GP practices, or patients' own homes.
In addition, you will contribute to prescribing audits and medication cost-efficiency projects within this role.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent interpersonal and IT skills, as well as a proven track record of patient care within pharmacy. Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team is highly desirable.
