About the Role

As a Residential Childcare Officer at Hays Social Care, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to young people aged 6-18 in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing direct care to young people, including supporting their daily needs and promoting their personal development.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the home and the delivery of high-quality care services.
What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with Social Care Wales and a clear Disclosure and Barring Service check.
  • A strong understanding of statutory and procedural frameworks, as well as excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
