Graduate Psychologist Student Opportunity

A local Primary school in Oxfordshire is seeking a Graduate Psychologist Student to join their team. This exciting opportunity allows the ideal candidate to develop their experience within education, supporting children in Key Stage 1 or 2 (KS1/KS2).

About the Role

The successful Graduate Psychologist Student will work closely with staff to create a fun and stimulating learning environment for pupils. The role involves supporting children with additional needs, including ASD, Autism, and challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting 1:1 learning and working in small groups outside the classroom setting
  • Supporting KS1/KS2 pupils with their initial growth and development as a Primary School Teaching Assistant
  • Providing emotional support and building rapport with children
  • Working with staff to create a positive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree graded 2:2 or above
  • Previous experience working with children, either in childcare, tutoring, nursery, sports settings, charity work, or similar classroom settings
  • Desirable skills include experience or interest in supporting children with SEN
What We Offer

The Graduate Psychologist Student will receive a competitive salary, estimated at £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience within education and develop their skills in a supportive environment.
