About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Nourishment Specialist. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our children through the provision of nutritious and balanced meals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement healthy eating plans for our children
- Source and prepare nutritious food for our nursery menus
- Collaborate with our childcare team to ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
- Manage our food budget to ensure cost efficiencies
- Provide training and support to our staff on food safety and nutrition

Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check
- Food Hygiene level 2 or equivalent
- Sound knowledge of food safety, HACCP and COSHH requirements
- Experience in catering for large numbers
- Great budget knowledge and management skills
- Excellent listening and communication skills
