We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Regulatory Legal Counsel to join our client, a leading provider of procurement and logistics services to healthcare organisations in England and Wales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a commercial compliance framework that aligns with relevant laws and regulations, ensuring best practices are embedded throughout the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, providing expert guidance to stakeholders as needed.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Public Contract Regulations, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the implementation of new standard procurement documents, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Collaborate with the category team to develop effective and legally compliant category and sourcing strategies.
  • Represent the legal function at key meetings, providing informed insights to drive business decisions.

Requirements

  • 3 years' experience working as a legal advisor, with a strong background in procurement law.
  • Proven expertise in procurement law, ideally within a healthcare setting.
  • A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
