Nighttime Railway Sanitation Specialist

Overview of the Role:

Txm Recruit Ltd is seeking skilled professionals to work as Train Cleaners on permanent night shifts at the Craigentinny Depot in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The selected candidates will be responsible for deep cleaning new fleet and in-service trains, focusing on detailed interior cleaning tasks.

This contract position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve high standards of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough cleaning of train interiors using specialized equipment and chemicals.
  • Ensure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to maintain a safe environment for passengers.
  • Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues with trains to the relevant authorities.
Salary and Benefits:
  • £12.00 per hour (PAYE) - Rate increase and overtime paid after 12 weeks.
  • Weekly pay structure provides stability and predictability.
