The Learning and Wellbeing Coordinator role at Bryn y Deryn involves working with learners who have challenging behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties. You will be responsible for delivering behaviour, wellbeing engagement, and trauma sessions to individuals, enabling them to regulate and access learning. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver behaviour, wellbeing engagement, and trauma sessions to learners.
- Work closely with the team to support learners with challenging behaviours.
- Improve learner attendance and provide guidance on teaching and learning opportunities.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with learners with behaviour, social, and mental health problems
* Knowledge and experience of Trauma-Informed Schools
* Ability to empathise with learners' difficulties
Benefits:
This post offers a competitive salary, ranging from £25,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience (part-time, 32.5 hours term time only). An SEN allowance is also included.
