Automation Maintenance Specialist

The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Technician to join our team in Runcorn, Cheshire. Under supervision from the depot, this role will involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance while gaining knowledge of safe working practices required to perform the role as a Technician.
Assisting in the maintenance of high-volume picking machinery via planned maintenance schedules.
Assisting Technicians in fast reactions to breakdowns of the depot equipment.
Maintain up-to-date records of all maintenance work, repairs, and site spares.
Liaising with contractors carrying out work on site.
Generation of paperwork and reports required.

Requirements
We seek a candidate with basic experience with conveyor systems and similar automation and a basic qualification in Electrical/Mechanical/Pneumatic discipline.
You will have basic technical knowledge and experience of working to compliance with Health and Safety.
You will be educated to GCSE level C or above and demonstrate good communication, timekeeping, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
Desirable but not Essential
- Experience working within a Technical department, especially maintenance.
- Working with Automated conveying systems.
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
