Industrial Automation Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Maintenance Manager to lead our automation maintenance team at Royal Mail Group's Chester Mail Centre. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities to ensure optimal automation system performance.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for automation systems.
- Manage and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure efficient operation of automation systems.
- Supervise and guide junior engineers and technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Coordinate with operational stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Proven experience in industrial automation maintenance management, preferably in a similar environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fully qualified in electrical and mechanical engineering (ONC Electrical Engineering/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Ability to work flexibly, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Estimated salary: £51,051 per annum, plus night shift allowance, 22.5 days annual leave with bank holidays, and a defined contribution pension scheme.
