Palliative Care Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Community Palliative Care team based out of our client's Hospice in Hertfordshire.

This is a full-time post, but we are open to hearing from candidates seeking to negotiate a part-time hours opportunity. As this role delivers services in the community, it is essential that you are a car driver and have access to a vehicle.

You will:

  1. Have a strong desire to move your career into palliative care and be supported by specialist nurses delivering high-quality Palliative and End of Life nursing care.
  2. Establish effective working relationships with multiprofessional community teams and provide advice and support to patients and their families affected by life-limiting disease.
  3. Act as the patient or carer advocate by liaising with other colleagues including the GP and hospital teams.

This employer is a UK Charity with a purpose-built Hospice providing patient-centred palliative care for adults with serious illnesses.

The Community Palliative Care team delivers individualised care for patients, their families, and carers supporting their wishes and preferences at home.
