Job Title: Transport Administrator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Transport Department, you will provide administrative support to our drivers and ensure the smooth operation of our transportation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to drivers, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication.
- Monitor and maintain records for agency drivers, including hours worked, routes, and fuel consumption.
- Brief and debrief drivers on their daily work tasks, ensuring they have the necessary information to complete their duties.
- Deal with driver and customer queries, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Create driver run sheets and manage fuel deliveries, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Scan pods into the TMS and provide reports and spreadsheets to internal departments as required.
- Carry out driver licence checks and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to succeed in a pressurized environment.
- Able to work using own initiative and with little supervision.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
