We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aviation Planner to join our team at Jacobsen|Daniels. As a key member of our aviation planning team, you will be responsible for providing support to project managers and coordinators to fulfill client needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop scopes of work based on client needs, including detailed breakdowns of tasks, hours required, and associated schedules/fees.
- Manage project work and status, coordinating with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
- Provide training and mentoring to junior staff members, focusing on technical skills and professional development.
- Lead meetings and corporate presentations to stakeholders and clients, utilizing strong communication and presentation skills.
- Identify follow-on work opportunities with existing clients and contribute to business development efforts.
- Four-year college degree required; a degree in aviation management, urban planning, or a related field is desirable.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in aviation planning, project management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD, with experience in data analysis, presentation development, and technical drawing.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
This is a full-time position, with an expectation of 40 hours of work per week. Periodic weekend or evening work may be required, and occasional travel to work sites is expected (estimated to be 10% travel).
Reporting RelationshipsThis position reports to a Managing Consultant, Director, Vice President, or other management staff identified during the hiring process or annual review process.
