About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Nurse to join our team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing expert care and support to patients with general skin conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and deliver care needs to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive service for patients with general skin conditions.
  • Provide expert nursing advice and support to patients, relatives/carers regarding their skin conditions in compliance with national standards.
  • Teach, support, and develop colleagues within dermatology settings.
  • Act always in a manner consistent with the NMC code of Professional conduct carrying out his/her duties in accordance with trust policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with experience working within Dermatology and Phototherapy.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and independently.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Clinical Governance and the relevance to practice and relevant policies and procedures.
